Community Centre Assistant

If you are looking for a new role, that maybe fits around other commitments that you already have,

this is a varied and interesting position most suited to a community-minded person with great administrative and organisational skills.

We are a busy community centre where no two days are the same. There is always lots going on, including exercise classes, coffee mornings, lunch club, Tots groups, pre-school and after school club. We hire out rooms for parties, meetings, training, and lots more. The Community Centre and Colden Common Community Association also run various community events throughout the year.

Why not consider joining our small friendly team at Colden Common Community Centre where we are looking for someone to help us provide a friendly welcome to the Community Centre, manage enquiries and bookings and provide general day to day administrative support to the Centre Manager and other staff as required. This is predominantly an office-based role, and occasional weekend and evening hours will be required, but flexibility is a key part of the job.

The post is for 8 - 10 hours per week, based at the Community Centre, St Vigor Way, Colden Common, SO21 1UU.

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour.

**Applications will then be shortlisted for interview and interviews will take place during the day on Tuesday 2nd July at Colden Common Community Centre.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
