Equine Technician Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equine Technician to join our team at Sparsholt College. As an Equine Technician, you will play a key role in the supervision and support of students in a real working environment, ensuring a positive and educational experience for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support students in practical skills and development to maintain high standards in the care, husbandry, and training of our horses.
  • Lead by example, ensuring a positive and learner-focused experience for students.
  • Work alongside the Equine team to provide high-quality care to the college horses, ensuring they are kept in accordance with BHS standards.
  • Assist with aspects of administration, organisation, and the carrying out of day-to-day operations and activities associated with a dynamic Equine Centre.
  • Deliver a varied events and competition calendar, including schooling of the College horses.

Working Hours:
