Hours per week: Full time and part time
About the Role:As a Community Reablement Assistant at Hampshire County Council, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced a major setback in life to regain their independence and confidence.
You will work with service users to help them regain the ability to perform daily tasks, such as washing, dressing, and managing their continence needs. You will provide practical hands-on support, as well as verbal guidance and encouragement, to help them become confident in managing these tasks independently.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and patient individuals with a caring personality and attitude. You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire and have a current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
The Reablement Team provides a comprehensive induction program and continuous training and development opportunities. You will have the chance to work with a dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Support service users to regain independence and confidence
- Provide practical hands-on support and verbal guidance
- Work with service users to develop personalized plans to achieve their goals
- Travel to various locations within Hampshire
- Participate in continuous training and development opportunities
