Customer Experience Specialist

Do you have an interest in live music, festivals and events? Are you ready to take your career to the next level in an exhilarating industry? Our client is recruiting for a Customer Experience Specialist to join their team based in the vibrant area of Digbeth, Birmingham.
Benefits include an annual bonus of up to 15% of your basic salary depending on company performance after 12 months service, an annual salary review, 29 days holiday including Bank Holidays, working from home days, opportunities to attend concerts and festivals as and when available and free car parking.
Our client is the largest provider of carbon neutral coach travel to a diverse spectrum of live music, sporting events and a wide variety of events, including operating as the official coach partner to most major festivals and UK tours.
The role is dynamic, hands on, and needs an individual who can multi-task, think on their feet and work under pressure.Our client is not the usual 9-5 company and is flexible with working hours to meet the demands of you and the business. Flexibility is required during the summer period as you will be required to work some weekends (lieu days will be given) and be part of the on-call rota covering some evenings, early mornings and weekends.
As the Customer Experience Specialist, you will be:
- Supporting and managing a small seasonal customer service team during the summer period
- Recruiting and training new seasonal team members as and when required
- Creating staff rotas for each event
- Answering customer calls on days of coach operations
- Updating and managing customer bookings on our bespoke systems
- Managing and resolving customer complaints within company guidelines
- Creating customer communications - travel updates, departure changes
- Working closely with Operations and Marketing to enhance the customer experience
- Supporting the operations team and sharing essential information
- Develop and review Customer Service procedures and documents as and when required
As the Customer Experience Specialist, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment, either within travel, transport, events, retail, hospitality or any other similar industry
- Previous customer service experience, providing support and guidance to team members
- A good geographical knowledge
- You may have experience working as one of the following: Customer Service Specialist, Customer Service Team Leader, Customer Service Supervisor, Manager, Team Leader, Customer Service Advocate, Store Manager, Managing or if you seeking an opportunity to develop into a Customer Service Manager, this is the opportunity for you
As the Customer Experience Specialist, your salary will be between £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience plus a fantastic range of benefits.
