**Purpose of the role**:
Working within a busy Prescription Services function providing administrative support to a range of prescription related tasks.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Operate a series of administrative tasks as part of a series of wider prescription related processes:
- Processing of Stock orders of Controlled Drugs
- System dispatching of Emergency Box orders
- Processing of Medical Administration record (MAR) charts
- NHS prescription and blister pack cycle management
- Clozapine Titration processing support
- To complete tasks in accordance with departmental guidelines and with appropriate use of systems
- Liaising between Customer Service, Pharmacists and other Mews functions as required
- To undertake training in labelling related duties from Prescription Services team Leader, with an aim to become proficient in that duty as part of a personal development plan
- Follow our company Standard Operating Procedures and observing the GPhC principals and standards, and ensuring effective use of systems and technology
- Adhere to our company and external Health & Safety Standards; including taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of colleagues, cooperating with management and following instructions, completing the provided training, and prompt reporting of any hazards, illnesses or injuries.
- Adhere to our company Data Protection procedures; including the completion of annual training, using the provided secure ways to handle and dispose of data, and prompt reporting of any suspected data breaches.

**Essential Education, Experience and Skills**:

- Experience_
- Minimum one year of experience within an administration role.
- Skills_
- Fluent in the English language
- Excellent attention to detail and data processing capabilities
- An ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Calm under pressure
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

- Ashtons Customer Service team.

Pay: Up to £24,960.00 per year
