You will spend time at the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and University of Bradford. Funding for accommodation and travel will be available as part of the NIHR programme award. The intern will be expected to achieve the following learning objectives: Understand the process of setting up a research study at a recruiting site (i.e., Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust). Understand the process of patient recruitment (identification and consent) at a recruiting site.

Understand how the research fits within clinical and academic careers. Learn how data analysis is undertaken of the collected research data. Understand the governance process of a research study. 6.

Produce brief reports of the study to the local clinical teams. Understand the roles of different research team members, e.g. site Principal Investigator, pharmacist, research nurse, Research & Development team. Produce presentation summarising their learning experience during the internship.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
