Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Full time

We are excited to advertise for TWO enthusiastic Year 2 or 3 Pharmacy students to undertake NIHR Undergraduate Internship Programme. The NIHR Undergraduate Internship Programme is a scheme designed to engage and attract students in the early stages of their academic studies to consider a career in health and social care research. These internships are part of collaborative project between Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and University of Bradford. The placements are funded through the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) award.

The 6-week internships will be supervised by Dr Kristina Medlinskiene (Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) and Dr Justine Tomlinson (University of Bradford).

During the internship you will be involved with NIHR funded national studies conducted at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust that focus on medication prescribing for older patients (e.g., deprescribing, improving adherence, care at transitions).
