**Job Title**:HR Executive

**Department**:Central Office

**Reports To**:Staff Partner

**Main Job Purpose**

Assisting the Staff Partner to manage all aspects of HR for the firm including recruitment, absence management and employee relations issues. Liaise with the firm’s managers/partners to identify and address training and staff development.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administrate all aspects of absence management including sick leave and holiday entitlements.
- Nurture a positive working environment, promoting wellbeing and a healthy work/life balance for employees.
- Identify potential improvements in the recruitment process (i.e., system updates/onboarding measures) and implement these as required.
- Facilitate the payroll process for the firm, ensuring all overtime/additions are included and communicated to the firm’s payroll management company. Liaising with payroll company to resolve any issues.
- Liaise with staff on an ongoing basis to help identify measures to maximise staff retention.
- Work with other managers/Partners in the firm to ensure that any HR issues are identified early and managed effectively.
- Liaise with Partners, managers, and staff to help identify training and development needs within the firm.
- Assist in sourcing suitable training courses from 3rd parties where required to aid in training and development of staff.
- Provide support to line managers in conducting annual reviews to ensure performance & development are monitored and rewarded.
- Provide reports to aid decision making support through HR metrics.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**

**Essential**
- Knowledge and experience of HR processes.
- Have excellent people skills and the ability to effectively manage issues arising within a team.
- Be well organised, able to problem solve and be attentive to detail.
- Have a high standard of written and oral communication.
- Ability to balance a diverse workload
- Strong IT background and confident with MS Office software.

**Desirable**
- HR or related qualification
- Previous experience in an HR role

**Contract Type**: Full Time (Part time can be considered)

**Hours per week**:35

**Contract Duration**:Permanent

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
