**Deputy Home Manager position in Cambridge. Recruiting for a small sized care provider, who are looking for someone to join the team on a full time basis, working 36 - 42 hours per week depending on your availability. Part time floor work and part timesupernumery work is required.**
**Must have general experience within care homes.Ideally looking for someone who is currently a care supervisor or team leader, who is looking for their next step up, or an experienced deputy manager. This is an opportunity to work for a well supported careprovider.**
**Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Home Manager**:
- To manage a team of Carers and work closely with the Home Manager
- Proven experience in assisting in managing fully compliant Residential Homes
- Experience in managing/ leading staff teams
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills
- Deciding and initiating action
- To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager
- To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice
**Deputy Home Manager Requirements**:
- Experience is care is essential
- Nursing qualification is essential
- Full time position working 36/42 hours per week
- Ensuring quality of care for residents
- Previous track record working within residential care companies
