The Role: Deputy Retirement Communities Manager

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Retirement Communities Manager to join our team at Nichols Court, Cambridge. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our retirement community and providing exceptional support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Housing Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of buildings, grounds, amenities, contracts, and void processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Resident Relations: Build strong relationships with residents, staff, volunteers, and the local community, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Safeguarding: Promote a culture of safety and well-being by implementing safeguarding policies and procedures, staying informed about best practices, and collaborating with external agencies when necessary.
  • Tenancy Management: Assist residents with understanding their tenancy agreements, rent payments, service charges, and eligibility for benefits.
  • Antisocial Behaviour: Coordinate low-level antisocial behaviour cases in accordance with established policies and procedures, working to resolve issues and maintain a harmonious community.
  • Support Services: Contribute to the delivery of support services to residents, ensuring their needs are met and they feel valued and supported.
