An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and forward thinking Administrator within the Integrated Therapies administrative team. You will be required to work on your own initiative to ensure the smooth running of the administrative functions of the Department.

You will have good communication skills, ability to work well in a team and excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You must have an excellent telephone manner, as you will be speaking to patients and their families on a daily basis. You will also need to be able to plan and prioritise effectively, work within defined deadlines and have the ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service. You will be confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point as well as a working knowledge of the Lorenzo patient administration system (or the ability to learn).

You will ideally already have experience of working within the NHS.

To provide general admin and clerical support to the clinical team as requested by the Team Lead.

Play an integral role in delivery of effective administrative team, providing appropriate administration support to registered patients.

To use the relevant IT systems including to register patients, make appointments, input clinical letters, and correspond with GP surgeries, as required.

To answer telephone enquiries in a polite, helpful, and efficient manner to ensure appropriate follow through using initiative to deal with routine enquiries and referring complex queries to the appropriate person.

Support the administrative processes associated with outpatient clinics / referrals / inpatient referrals as required
