Liverpool, United Kingdom University of Liverpool Full time

We are delighted to be recruiting a new team as part of an exciting new Research England funded initiative: Thrive: A new approach to inclusive teamwork in research and impact leadership. Thrive will identify best practice in terms of inclusive and diverse teams-based working, pilot a new model of teamworking through a funding call in collaboration with the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and disseminate the findings to the wider HEI and research funder sector.

We are seeking to appoint a Project Administrator to be the first point of contact and provide administrative support for this new initiative.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to play a significant role in this important research culture project, working with the Thrive Project team and the wider Higher Education Institution and Research Funder stakeholders. You will provide effective administrative support to the Thrive project Lead and wider project team, be a first point of contact for the project, coordinate the required workshops and meetings with varied external stakeholders, support the Thrive Management Board, provide effective monitoring of the project budget, and capture and present data to enable effective project reporting and monitoring. The role enables you to work with a diverse range of Professional Services and Academic colleagues across the University as well as many external stakeholders. The role reports to the Thrive Project Manager and will sit in the Central Professional Services Research and Partnerships team.

You will be a well-organised person, with good attention to detail, who enjoys collaborative working. You will have excellent communication and IT skills, with some experience of working with multiple stakeholders across institutional boundaries. Ideally, you would have an interest in University research, and a willingness to gain an understanding of our research funders and research communities. You will have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.

This post is offered on a part time (0.5fte) fixed term basis from September 2023 until September 2025.

Interviews are scheduled to be held w/c 17 July 2023.
