**The Role**:
The post holder will provide comprehensive clerical support to the Radiology Department ensuring a high quality service is maintained to patients and staff.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- The post holder should have good keyboard skills with the ability to enter information into the computer database with speed and accuracy.
- The post holder should be educated to Standard Grade level and have gained a qualification in English.
- Experience in dealing with the General Public is an essential requirement for this post.
- The post holder should possess good communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise the workload, use own initiative, work under pressure and as part of a team in order to accomplish all required tasks.
- Flexibility, adaptability, excellent telephone manner and good timekeeping are also essential requirements for this post

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Over time use experience gained in radiological examination procedures, departmental operational procedures and various computer systems to deal with non routine activities/queries problem solving where necessary.

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based inthe Radiology department within University Hospital Hairmyres.

The working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
