**The Nitty-Gritty**:
**_ What exactly you will be doing _**

**_ _**_This is a fixed-term role, for a three-month period. _**

The role will be based in our Edinburgh hotel but will also support our Glasgow Virgin Hotel remotely too. The role will report to the Regional Director of People, Scotland.

In helping you understand your role, here is a list of some of the key job responsibilities.
- Posting Job Adverts
- Onboarding applicants issuing paperwork
- Adding employees to the People Systems
- Administration of the People Systems
- Enrolling employees onto the clocking System
- Administration of employee lockers employee passes
- Minute taking
- Add hoc letters when required
- Monthly birthday cards
- Monthly calendars updates for the internal online platform, The Beat
- Weekly hour check for employees with Visa restrictions
- Weekly update to GM (new hires and leavers)
- Monthly salary comparison document
- Send out passed Settling in Period notifications
- Monthly Leaver's data spreadsheet to GM
- Assistance in employee engagement activities, eg Rockstar Awards, themed lunches
- Track the Refer a Friend programme

**What qualities are we looking for?**

**_ You got skills? If you are able to perform the following, then you have come to the right place _**
- Administration is your passion; you have an eye for detail and love getting things done
- Strong IT skills and use of all Microsoft packages
- Experience with People Systems would be fabulous.
- Previous hospitality experience in your skillset is an advantage and an interest in HR is a plus ??
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- We truly hope that you are an eager and enthusiastic individual.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- We are looking for a great team player with a positive attitude.

**Background must-have**:

- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the UK
- Hospitality or Human Resources degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in an administration capacity preferred
