We are seeking a diligent and experienced Payroll Officer (standalone) to join our client’s business in Crewe. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess exceptional payroll processing skills, we want to hear from you

£40,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)

Full-time or Part-time hours can be considered

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **End-to-End Payroll Processing**:Manage the entire payroll cycle for our company, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
- **Weekly and Monthly Payrolls**: Handle both weekly and monthly payroll runs efficiently, catering to the diverse needs of our workforce.
- **Time and Attendance System Management**: Regularly review and update the Time and Attendance system to reflect accurate employee data and attendance records.
- **Strong System Skills**: Utilise your proficiency in payroll software and systems to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- **Month-end and Year-end Payroll Processing**: Execute comprehensive month-end and year-end payroll procedures, including reconciliations and reporting.
- **HMRC Reporting**: Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations by accurately preparing and submitting payroll reports as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably within a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel, with strong system skills to adapt to various platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple payrolls simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external bodies.
- Up-to-date knowledge of HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
