**Position**: Senior Payroll Officer

We're seeking an experienced individual to become our Senior Payroll Officer. You'll be an integral part of our organisation, ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll systems and processes.

**Hours**: We are looking for someone who enjoys a 4-day working week Why not take a Thursday or Friday off?

**Your duties will include**:

- Utilise computerised Payroll systems to accurately enter employee hours
- Ensure accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing
- Guarantee timely payment for weekly paid employees and distribution of payslips
- Maintain records using the computer and paper systems, tracking attendance, holiday entitlement, and days present for all employees
- Collaborate with other departments to improve information flow and payroll processes
- Carry out ad hoc projects and tasks to support the Payroll and Senior Management Team
- Provide support for build and integration of a new Payroll and HRIS system

**Your skills and experience**:

- Proven experience in payroll processing, including handling weekly payroll.
- Familiarity with Sage, ADP and Kronos - time & attendance systems, and dealing with HMRC
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong team player, customer-focused, and adaptable to change
