Metro Rod & Metro Plumb are a national market leader in providing the highest quality drain care and emergency plumbing services. We operate as a UK network of independently owned, regional franchises, co-ordinated via a central Support Hub, and owned by Franchise Brands plc.

We are looking for an experienced Scheduling Assistant (from any sector) to join this thriving business based in Birmingham Castle Vale Enterprise Park.

**What does it entail?**

You will liaise with our customers and Engineers to ensure we book pre-planned and reactive servicing work in advance and attend within a timely manner. You will also be part of a busy team ensuring that all follow up work is completed.

Our Schedulers are therefore at the forefront of everything we do.
- Working within a small team
- Answering incoming calls and managing bookings with customers
- Ensuring optimum schedules for Engineers - planning travel time, and any other factors which may impact on work being carried out
- Resolving customer queries
- Supporting the service delivery and billing / finance teams providing MI and reports where necessary

**What do we look for?**
- Previous experience within a Scheduling (or similar) role
- Resilient and able to adapt
- Customer focused, enthusiastic and a confident communicator
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Competent IT skills and keyboard skills with the ability to multi-task
- Great administrative and organisational ability
- Collaborative whilst able to work on your own unsupervised
