**Job Type**:Permanent, Full-time

**Hours**: 40h per week, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 plus On Call

An opportunity has arisen to join us as an L3 UC Support Consultant.

You will join our Microsoft UC team, part of the wider Technical Operations team, delivering on L3 support for your assigned customers.

You will manage and resolve complex incidents and problems, both in and out of hours.

You will be expected to manage escalations and take the lead on problem management issues, whilst providing advice and guidance to the rest of the team. Working alongside other Support Specialists, this role will fulfil customer delivery to the highest standard.

You will be required to join an on-call rota to support 24/7 escalations from the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Resolve incidents and requests within SLA for customers that cannot be resolved at the Nasstar 2nd Line Engineer level
- Develop and mentor other team members with an approachable manner, helping to develop Best Practice and standards that can be shared with the team
- Being the authoritative voice on technical decisions and being able to present to internal and external stakeholders
- Methodically work through issues that impact the UC stack and present findings to a wider audience, ensuring buy-in from third parties for issues outside of Nasstar control
- Understand the root cause of an issue and communicating this to third party and customers
- Suggest technical improvements to monitoring to ensure that system availability is increased

**What we are looking for**:

- Strong understanding and background of designing and supporting complex Skype for Business infrastructure in a large corporate environment
- Advanced highly technical skillset specifically in Microsoft Skype for Business and SBC/gateways
- Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and supporting services
- Administration and maintenance of Session Border Controllers such as Acme Packets, Ribbon/Sonus & AudioCodes
- PowerShell administration and scripting
- SQL Server administration and maintenance
- Architecture and design experience of Skype for Business hybrid and resource forest deployments, Team Direct Routing, O365, MIM/FIM and 3rd party products such as Verba Call Recording, Anywhere365 & SphereShield
- An independent, self-starter capable of managing their own workload
- Highly organised and able to multi-task effectively
- Preference for Certifications such as: Ribbon Core Support Class, Core Implementation Class, Verba accreditation, EICC accreditation, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, M365: Teams Voice Engineer Expert
