**Previous Financial Services experience not required.**

The main purpose of this role is to assist in the delivery and monitoring of finance transactions for the LMBU (Large and Medium Partner Business Units) Partners and assist in the delivery of commercial finance projects.

Supporting the LMBU Finance Consultant in their role to develop and deliver valuable financial consulting solutions to our LMBU Partner businesses and their Advisers.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Assisting in the data gathering and preparation of commercial proposals or presentations to Partner Businesses and other SJP stakeholders.
- Working with cashflow models, creating summary tables and outputs and presenting results to your Line Manager.
- Helping to prepare research papers on certain aspects of a particular transaction.
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance related projects and supporting in their delivery within agreed timescale.
- Contributing to achieving LMBU objectives and KPIs which currently account for c20% of SJPs Funds Under Management.

- An inquisitive approach, keen to investigate and research answers, develop pragmatic solutions and with a real desire to learn.
- Comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders and the resilience to deal with problems and challenges in a positive can-do way.
- A team player - seeking to take on more responsibilities and exposure across the wider business.
- A financial qualification would be an advantage.

Some occasional travel to other SJP sites may be required.
