Our client based in Horsham are looking to recruit a HR Manager to join their busy team. As a HR Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of HR administration, management, reporting and handling operational & strategic business HR requirements.

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and there will be the possibility of flexible working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home) after your probation period.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the onboarding and exit of employees, including referencing, due diligence, employee contracts, Induction process, exit interviews
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, establishing relationships with agencies, agreeing terms and contracts, writing job descriptions, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Manage all changes to Payroll
- Manage employee benefits administration including the Pension Scheme
- Manage effective staff and management communications, including employee and employment related matters
- Co-ordinate performance reviews and annual appraisal process, including probationary reviews
- Maintain accurate HR MI and report to the Senior Management and the Parent Company, regularly and on request
- Review and keep up-to-date HR Policies and standing operating procedures
- Remain up to date with current Employment and HR legislation and regulatory change
- Maintain HR technology, including Staff Intranet and HR SharePoint pages
- Assume role of Health and Safety Officer, with responsibilities including fire drills, first aiders, risk assessments, accident reporting
- Facilitate logistics for Board and Senior Management Meetings, including co-ordination and preparation of the pre-reading materials, invitations, logistics and catering, both onsite and offsite
- Responsibility for team of Receptionists
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- To take responsibility for own performance and to identify personal development areas

**Requirements**:

- Experience / Qualifications:_
- 3-5 years minimum recent Experience in the human resources sector
- Strong administrative and organisation skills
- Proficient IT Skills in the Microsoft suite, including Office 365 and SharePoint
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR Policy and regulations
- Personal attributes:_
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team; however, even more importantly is the willingness to adopt a flexible approach to the work undertaken
- Demonstrate commitment by regular attendance and efficient completion of all tasks allocated
- Carry out duties and responsibilities in compliance with health and safety policies and statutory regulations, with utmost confidentiality
- Maintain high standards of personal accountability
- Willingness to undertake training and progress personal development
- A confident individual possessing a sound systematic and methodical approach to work
- Excellent Communicator, possessing the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and in all media types
- Desirable but not essential:_
- Qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) are highly desirable, but not essential
- Management experience
- A basic knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services Industry
