**Job Purpose**
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Administrator to join our expanding Customer Service Team. This role is to serve as a first point of contact for a key customer account, to handle all day-to-day administrative tasks for the department which involves accurately processing consignment documents and dealing with any escalation issues within the agreed timeframe.
The role of the Business Administrator would become an integral part of the continued success of Slicker Recycling, whilst promoting the Slicker workplace values. We are **_Smart_**, **_Honest_** and **_Reliable_**, working **_Together_** whilst having **_Fun_**.
**Main tasks and responsibilities**
- Develop relationships with our customers by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Manage key customer accounts, answering any queries and dealing with client enquiries about reports, booking times and queries that may arise.
- Be responsible for the administration of the accounts, completing all regulatory paperwork in a timely manner.
- Create, edit, and update spreadsheets and other business documents and continue to maintain them in an accurate and timely way.
- Track and manage volumes, arranging bookings and deliveries.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Liaise with the Slicker Site Managers, Executive team, and Customers.
- Complete regular daily, weekly and monthly reports to agreed timescales.
- Responsible for month end reports and processes.
- Resolving invoice queries and liaising with the Finance department
**Essential skills and key requirements**
- Minimum of 12 months experience within similar environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate, working knowledge of MS Office Software and Sage essential
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative
- Ability to work unsupervised and to multiple deadlines
- Flexibility may be required to assist other members of the department during busy periods
- Positive, self
- motivated and able to work under pressure
- Previous industry experience would be advantageous
