We are a successful, award-winning business operating in the Wyre Forest and Worcestershire, offering bookkeeping services to businesses of all sizes.
About UsDue to continuous growth, we are expanding our team and seeking an organized individual with exceptional attention to detail to support us with bookkeeping across multiple accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities- Weekly, monthly, and quarterly bookkeeping, ensuring accurate recording of invoices raised and bills received.
- Reconcile bank transactions.
- Post journals for prepayments, accruals, payroll, and other monthly/annual adjustments.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns for bookkeeping clients.
- Liaise with clients for weekly/monthly and quarterly bookkeeping.
- Implement process improvements.
- Assist with related accounting and internal finance work.
- Able to work on customer sites when required.
- AAT qualified or part-qualified.
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Easily approachable and skilled at building good relationships with clients.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to multi-task.
- Experience with cloud accounting software (preferably Xero).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office platforms.
- Attention to detail and systematic approach to data.
- Focus on quality and drive to deliver high standards.
- Able to problem-solve independently.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
