- Site Context & Job Purpose
- The fleet compliance coordinator alongside the transport supervisor and transport manager is responsible for the management of fleet, organising regular maintenance and ensuring the fleet and operation remains compliant. Alongside the compliance duties the role requires the person to ensure the successful execution of the daily/weekly transport plan within the framework of client(s) requirements, legal compliance, and internal/external SLA's. The creation of driver paperwork, briefing drivers pre and debrief. Monitor drivers throughout their delivery/collection routes up to the end of their respective shift. There is a significant amount of daily reporting included in the role. This includes operational, performance and financially relevant KPI reporting
- The role will include flexibility, independent working, and requires a proactive approach to problem solving.

- Maintain and update all relevant vehicle records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensuring that systems are in place, monitored and complied with to ensure legal compliance across
all disciplines including defect process, accident process, systems execution and data reporting.- Ensure full compliance with all legal requirements related to fleet operations.
- Act as liaison between various stakeholders, including fleet administration, transport teams, drivers,
maintenance suppliers, and other transport sites.- Ensure that systems, workflows and processes are in place and complied with for all vehicle
maintenance and operator licensing conditions.- Ensuring that systems are in place, monitored and complied with for the accurate production and
execution of the transport plan.- Manage the service delivery performance of all suppliers, including agency worker providers and
vehicle maintenance providers.- Support the senior management in the implementation and/or execution of any new functional
initiatives.- Proactively engaging the team in problem solving activities especially in relation to the in-day plan
execution where customer demands require- Proactively planning the daily transport schedule to ensure all customer requirements are met.
- Complete daily checks to ensure that the daily transport schedule is adequately resourced for on
day and next day routing plans.- Fully brief by going through the driver's daily plan to ensure they understand their route, the
requirements of the route, the information pack provided and are adequately trained on all systems
- and processes.- Ensure that all routes are tracked through HHT and Microlise and that drivers are logged onto the
HHT and are compliant. Any exceptions or faults are reported to your direct reporting
- manager/supervisor.- Ensure the accurate recording of all data, on the ring around report and routing plan is completed in
a timely manner.- All daily reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner as directed by the management
team, and in keeping with business requirements.- Proactive problem solving daily to ensure 100% service delivery and legal compliance.
- Complete defects with drivers, enter onto Axcend, call out relevant engineer promptly
Skills & Experience Required:

- Strong knowledge of fleet compliance procedures and policies

- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- Good organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good communicator - both verbal and written.
- Computer literate, experience of Epod, Microlise, Tachomaster, Axcend and all Microsoft packages.
- Proactive and self-starter mentality
