Our client is a multi-disciplined Health & Safety consultancy based in Essex with operations reaching nationally. **Operations Administrator (Safety)**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to join the company as an **Operations Administrator**. Our client are a start-up organisation going through an exciting period of growth, and are seeking someone to provide a variety of operational administrative support to the Managing Director, being flexible with duties and willing to grow with the business. This is an excellent opportunity to get into Health & Safety.

**Duties (include but are not limited to)**:

- Administrative support for a variety of the business operational function
- Diary management for the Managing Directions and Consultants, ensuring UK wide bookings are efficiently organised accommodating for travel and time
- Arranging bookings with clients and confirming appropriately
- Supporting the preparation of paperwork for site visits and surveys
- Regularly speaking to clients (including for contract renewals), ensuring the CRM is accurately kept up to date and well organised
- Supporting with various operations and projects of the company
- Booking travel & hotels when required
- Updating expense forms for Managing Director and Consultants
- Typing up notes from inspections and inputting into the CRM
- Attending occasional site visits/surveys to assist Managing Director
- Tidying up and organising library of documents (including branding), creating a suite for staff and clients to utilize
- Organising and updating training matrixes for clients
- Attending networking events in Managing Director’s absence
- Liaising with B2B clients via the phone and face to face
- Supporting with invoicing and credit control
- Purchasing equipment for the office and running of the business

**Person Specification**:

- 1-2 years Administration experience desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a well organised approach to work
- Self-motivation, proactiveness and teamwork are assets
- Open-minded/flexible approach to work to support a growing business
- Health & Safety knowledge (mainly construction) an advantage (or interest in getting into this environment)
