We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, Foresters Friendly Society, a successful financial service company based in Southampton, Hampshire. They are a Mutual society and therefore their profits are distributed to their members through policyholder bonuses rather than going to shareholders. Foresters Friendly Society are a well-established organisation, delivering financial products for 185 years with over 70,000 members.

They are now looking for an **Office Assistant **to join their growing and very busy team. You will be providing high quality, efficient service to their new and existing members and brokers as well as dealing with the administration related to the new business, claims and premiums.

**Office Assistant**, your duties:

- Managing claims and associated documentation in a professional and timely manner (notification documents, processing, calculations, maintenance of a group claim card index, accordance with Service Standard Agreement)
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., group brokers)
- Ensuring any cheques or BACS payments raised are accurately calculated and checked
- Monitoring and administering of premium breakdowns from Brokers
- Advising Accounts of any BACS premiums, reconciliating against the claims card index and spreadsheets in relation to Court Ross
- Making sure all procedures for claims are up to date when changes have been made
- Assisting colleagues to undertake their own responsibilities and contributing to the training of new team members

**Office Assistant**, perfect applicant:

- Minimum 5 GCSEs A-C or 9-4 including English & Maths
- Understanding of Financial Services industry
- Familiarity with mutual sector and friendly societies
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- Ability to utilise database/CRM packages
- Friendly, approachable and reliable
- Financial Services industry qualifications i.e., CF/FP would be desirable
