Part Time Office Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This is a full-time position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Assist with data entry and maintaining electronic and paper records
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Assist with organizing meetings and preparing meeting materials
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Assist with basic clerical duties as assigned
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles is a plus
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £20.00 per hour

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
