Oxford School of English have an exciting opportunity to join the team. The Admissions Assistant (Japanese Speaker) plays a key role in supporting all departments across the school and in providing excellent customer service and administrative support. You must be able to thrive under pressure in a busy environment and deal with conflicting priorities in a professional and effective manner. The role is full time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, office based and reports directly to the Senior Admissions Manager. You will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and have a high degree of self-motivation.

Outstanding individual required for this exciting career opportunity within our international language school, Oxford School of English. Open 50 weeks of the year, we welcome students aged 16+ from across the globe to study English Language with us. We also run an additional Junior Summer School in July and August for students aged 14-17 years.

Duties include but are not limited to;
- Looking after students' initial enquiries.
- Answering the phone, transferring calls on to relevant people and taking messages.
- Responding to customer and agent queries.
- Supporting the management and school departments with administrative needs.
- Processing of Pro-forma Invoices and Booking Confirmations (Full training will be provided).
- Accepting and processing payments and receipts.
- Building good customer/student relations.
- Processing payment of business invoices.
- Occasional weekend work (paid additionally).

You should have;
- Fluent Japanese
- Excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
- Capacity to work in a busy and dynamic environment
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task
- Must be computer literate and good knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word and excel

This opportunity is equally suitable for those with or without direct experience with a willingness to learn. Experience within an educational or international background is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
