Clinical Governance Administrator

To support the Clinical Governance Team with a wide range of administrative responsibilities, communicating in a professional manner with the multi-disciplinary team.

You will work closely with the Deputy Head of Clinical Governance to manage the administration of the Commissioning for Quality and Innovation process (CQUIN) programme. This will involve arranging meetings venues, sending out papers and taking notes/minutes.

You will be involved in the administration of the Technologies Appraisal Group (TAG) which is on a monthly basis. This will involve arranging meetings venues, sending out papers and taking notes/minutes.

You will be involved in the administrative aspects of managing the Trust Quality Account, Quality Priorities and Patient Engagement events.

You will be providing support across the Clinical Governance Team portfolios as required.
1. To book venues, send meeting invitations, disseminate agendas and papers prior to all the regular CQUIN and TAG meetings, take the minutes at the meetings.
2. To collate information from various sources and update the main CQUIN spreadsheet and ensure accuracy when entering the data.
3. Provide the administrative support for the production of the annual Quality Account including formatting.
4. Provide the administrative support for the Patient Engagement events (2-3 per year) such as booking the venue, speakers, equipment and catering.
5. To escalate in a timely manner potential problems with upcoming meetings.
6. To ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in an efficient, polite and confidential manner and/or passed onto the relevant person for action.
7. To ensure that all documentation is filed appropriately.
8. Arrange ad-hoc meetings and appointments as required and ensure all associated arrangements are in place.
9. Ability to deal with stressful situations such as tight deadlines in an environment of frequent.
10. Adaptable and flexible to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
11. To work with the Deputy Head of Clinical Governance in collating data related to all CQUINs.
12. Plan and manage own time using organisational and prioritising skills in the context of multiple demands from members of the management team.
13. To support members of the Clinical Governance Team with administrative support as required.

The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
