Proman is currently working with a leading Food Service business to appoint an enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator, on a temporary to permanent opportunity, based in Nelson.
The main purpose of the Customer Service Administrator will be to provide excellent customer service to our restaurant customers. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, whilst still maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
Customer Service Administrator
The main responsibilities of the Customer Service Administrator will be:
- Answering the telephone to a variety of people and either being able to deal with their enquiry or
- direct them to the relevant department
- Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
- Address customer questions about new products, services, promotions on sales
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Works with management to maintain best practices for efficient communication with customers
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Ensuring data accuracy in all aspects of work
- Responding to enquires quickly and effectively, whilst ensuring first class customer service
- Process telephone, mailbox orders and queries accurately and in a timely manner
- To act professionally at all times and ensure the ethics and ethos of the company are followed
- Contributes to bottom lines sales by increasing customer satisfaction
- Meets regularly with team lead to give feedback to help improve customer service culture, response time and tools to improve staff experience
- Keeps sensitive information and financial records private and confidential
- To carry out other roles within the department as and when needed
- To be flexible with your time and open to change
The successful Customer Service Administrator will be:
- Methodical with excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail & ability to produce high quality & high accuracy work
- Able to work well under pressure and to demanding deadlines
- Ability to work under mínimal guidance and supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate and proficient with using Excel
- Flexible and professional approach
- A team player with a strong ‘can do’ attitude
- Resilient
