**Product Owner ServiceNow**

The Product Owner ServiceNow at ASDA People Services is critical in defining and delivering our HRSD Service Now platform strategy and solutions. The primary responsibility of a Product Owner - ServiceNow is to act as the bridge between the development team and the Process Owners, ensuring that the development efforts align with the overall vision, goals, and priorities of ServiceNow. You will be responsible for leading a team of 3-4 colleagues and owning and managing the HRSD ServiceNow platform within the organisation. The role holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of the ServiceNow system within the organisation. You will focus on analysing processes, gathering system requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the effective utilisation of the ServiceNow platform. Work closely with Process Owners, HRIS members and Asda Tech specialists, as well as external vendors to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions that align with business needs and supports efficient service management processes. Support with the gathering of requirements and management of the product backlog and will work closely with stakeholders to successfully deliver ServiceNow projects which comply with the standards set by the platform team.

**“About your role”**

**Product Vision, Roadmap & Funding Proposals**
- Assist product team with setting strategy, vision, and roadmap for HRSD.
- Lead the development of a clear vision for the product based on user feedback and own experience.
- Prioritise backlog items based on business value, user needs, and technical considerations.
- Inform ASDA on product trends and leading practices in the market.
- Provide inputs to development of the business case to secure funding for identified opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the product strategy based on market trends, customer feedback, and business goals.
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring that it is updated regularly technical task.
- Engage with stakeholders, gather feedback, and incorporate it into the product backlog and roadmap.
- Lead the development of testing strategy, testing scripts and signoff for any changes and development.
- Define standards for the Citizen Development framework and ensure adherence.

**Release Management**
- Plan and coordinate the product release schedule in collaboration with the development team and stakeholders.
- Ensure that each release delivers valuable features and aligns with the product roadmap.
- Define clear acceptance criteria for new releases with the development team to ensure that deliverables meet those criteria.

**Communication & Collaboration**
- Lead team members to build a culture of continuous product excellence and improvement.
- Collaborate with process owners, CoEs, Operational team to ensure resources are trained on using the system.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the development team regarding product-related questions and decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
- Manage demands, requirements, and feedback for ServiceNow.
- Manage user administration, approval, and audit for any admin roles within the product.
- Provide resource for any major development (outside of minor enhancement).
