Are you an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills, with a love for delivering first class support? We have just the role for you as a Business Services Co-ordinator.
Your working hours will be Sunday - Wednesday, and you'll also be on the Upton Duty Manager rota.
What it's like to work here:You will be very much at the heart of the property team, supporting the whole team with anything from group bookings through to purchasing and banking.
To support you in the role you will manage an Assistant Business Services Co-ordinator and small team of volunteers. In this role you will also look after the second-hand bookshop and support the volunteers in this team too.
What you'll be doing:The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same so you’ll have to love variety. You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something.
When you're acting as Duty Manager you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the site that day, and will be the first 'port of call' for any issues or incidents. In the event of a property closure you'll be responsible for ensuring the website and social media channels are updated. Then on these days there are simple tasks like attending the volunteer briefing, ensuring floats are collected and that the property is locked up at the end of the day.

- Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
- Well organised and attention to detail
- Advanced IT Skills

It’s important that our people reflect and represent the diversity of the communities and audiences we serve. We welcome and value difference, so when we say we’re for everyone, we want everyone to be welcome in our teams too.
