We are looking for someone with great attention to detail to provide support within the Performance Data Team that handles data for Children's Social Care, Education, Public Health and Youth Offending, producing both regular reporting as well as responding to bespoke data requests.

Ideally proficient in various forms of Data Analysis, you will have a passion for accuracy, be technically competent in a wide range of Microsoft products, but also be confident in working in a customer-focused environment.

You will be used to handling highly confidential data in a secure way, as well as ensuring that the end-user is happy with the report or product that you have supplied, listening to any concerns that they might have and acting on them.

Main duties include:

- To understand the information systems in the Directorates and be responsible for the confidentiality of such data as appropriate in accordance with the Data Protection Act;
- To update and extract information, interrogate systems, analyse data and produce reports as required by Senior Management and business
- To design and create new reports to support new or revised Directorate developments and requirements
- To manage business and practitioner workshops to prepare business specifications to support reporting developments;
- To develop and maintain reporting in a manner that supports the efficient production of management/performance reporting;
- To maintain an in-depth knowledge of all statutory and local reporting requirements;

This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
