Marlin operates a collection of lifestyle hotels, aparthotels & serviced apartments across the capital cities of London and Dublin. We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic Meeting & Events Coordinator to join our highly successful team here in Marlin Waterloo. Our Meeting & Events Coordinator will oversee the operation of 8 meeting rooms with culinary offering.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To help and support guests to ensure they receive the perfect Event or Meeting, with meticulous planning & organization
- Establish client requirements and identifying how the hotel can facilitate their needs
- Respond to all M&E enquiries in-line with company standards
- To organise and schedule all Meeting & Events according to specific requirements, liaising with clients to ensure that accurate details for each event & reservation are obtained accurately input all enquiries into Sales and Catering system
- Ensure enquiries are managed to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue, including up-selling equipment, F&B and relevant hotel facilities wherever possible
- Inject fresh new ideas to drive service standards and encourage repeat business
- Communicate all event details and updates to the hotel operational teams through the BEO in a timely and effective manner
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business, maintaining customer records on Opera S&C
- Achieve monthly as well as annual sales targets

**What Do you Need?**

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

- Proven experience as a Meetings and Event Coordinator
- A proven track record of organizing successful events
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent vendor management skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
