**Job description**

The Scottish Plant Owners Association founded in 1950, represents 350 members who collectively employ over 40,000 people and generate over £7bn for the economy. The association is the only body representing Scotland’s plant industry in its entirety with members involved in Quarrying, Construction, Demolition, Plant Hire, Lifting, Plant Sales and more.

Our aim, besides being the Voice and Ears of the sector, is to be at the heart of Scotland’s plant community.

We require a passionate and ambitious person to take up the role of Membership & Office Administrator. You will work closely with the President, Vice President and Secretary, learning the intricacies of how our association works whilst supporting the President and Executive Committee in executing the associations growth and development plans.

Our aim is simply to deliver greater value to our members.

**Job Title-**
- **Association Administrator**

**Responsibilities**:
**Membership service-**
- Membership renewals/ invoicing and credit control
- Targeting new members using databases
- Getting to know existing members

**Board Meetings-**
- Book all venues in advance.
- Send out diary invites for meetings
- Assist the President, Vice President, Secretary and Committee with any research that may be needed between meetings
- Attend all board meetings and record accurate minutes
- Circulate minutes produced and create agendas

**Events Support-**
- Supporting with booking and organising events.
- Negotiation with venues
- Attend events to support the running and to get to know members who attend.
- Arranging any prizes for events
- Event budget management
- Creating content for marketing mailers.

**Administrational Duties-**
- Maintaining and updating the membership CRM
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism
- Invoicing subscriptions, events and training courses
- Use Google suite for document and project management

**Requirements-**
- Proven experience in a similar office or membership role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in IT systems including Xero, CRM, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

**Hours of Work-**
- 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday at our Stirling office, some events may land outside these hours.
- 29 days Holiday (mandatory 10 days at Christmas + public holidays)

**Salary-**
- £27,000 - £tbc depending on experience.

**Driving Licence is essential**
