Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park was opened to the public in 1970 and was, at the time, one of Britain’s first safari parks. With over 400,000 visitors a year, we’re now one of the most popular visitor attractions in Scotland and offer a world-class visitor experience that’s exciting, educational, and fun.
**Day-to-day duties**
As a Customer Contact Administrator you’ll need to be friendly, outgoing and confident. We are looking for people with an excellent telephone manner, who have strong IT skills and good at written English.
Positioned in the administration office at the Safari Park, your duties will include:
Amending bookings on our ticket management system.
- Taking payments over the phone.
- Administrating membership renewals and enquiries.
- Manage birthday party bookings and all related enquiries.
- Replying to or re-directing visitors to the appropriate department.
**Knowledge, skills and qualifications required**:
- Experience of working in a contact centre (desirable but not essential)
- Experience of working in a large visitor attraction (desirable but not essential)
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Experience of working with booking systems.
- Experience of using Excel.
- Ability to work well in a team and relate well to the public.
- Excellent customer service experience is essential.
- Good written English is essential.
- Ability to problem solve and seek to resolve issues.
