Administrative Liaison Assistant

- Provide administrative support and assistance with activities such as word processing, scheduling meetings, minuting, maintaining filing and records management systems, opening/scanning/logging/distribution of mail.
- Maintain and update management information systems by entering data to produce records and reports for the Service, the Council and other agencies in line with agreed timescales and deadlines.
- Deliver a front-line reception service to service users and visitors, dealing with enquiries face-to-face and on the telephone, logging calls and directing them to the most appropriate officer within appropriate timescales.
- Use financial systems to assist with monitoring expenditure against budget allocations, including e-procurement and e-purchasing, payment of goods and services, cash receipting, disbursement, creditors' payments and debtors' invoices in accordance with procedures, and maintaining stocks of stationery.
- Collate and update inventories.
The salary for this role is estimated at £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
