The Dementia and Delirium Outreach Team at Musgrove Park Hospital have a vacancy for a Team Administrator to support with the day to day administration within the team.
The dementia and delirium outreach teams support patients and their families in the acute hospitals, community hospitals and care homes, who are living with a dementia or experiencing a delirium, and the Administrator will work as part of this friendly multi-disciplinary team (MDT) supporting the effective administration of pathways for our Dementia and Delirium Service.
The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.
The post holder will be required to develop an understanding of the flow work/priorities within the team and adopt a constantly flexible team working approach to ensure that all individual and team objectives are completed efficiently and within given timescales.
The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the service requiring clear communication and liaison skills. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.
