This OH Associate role will work at our Meals site in Spalding.

Bakkavor Meals, Spalding has three factories and a distribution centre based on the same site in Spalding, Lincolnshire, employing over 1600 people. These production units produce soups, sauces, dips as part of our meals range as well as salad accompaniments such as coleslaw and pasta salads, sandwich wraps and food to go salads.

**The Role**

Bakkavor Meals have a fantastic opportunity available for a permanent Occupational Health Associate.

The role of the Occupational Health Associate is to provide high quality, consistent and compliant administrative support to the OH provision on site.

**Accountabilities**
- To efficiently administer the end-to-end booking process for the OH Advisor and Physio provision for all appointments within the agreed SLA timescales. To include diary management for the OH Advisor, preparation for clinics and liaison with colleagues and Line Managers using the most effective forms of communication.
- Provide administrative support to the OH Advisor in corresponding with external health providers including GP’s, Consultants, Physio and OH Physicians.
- Ensure prompt communication with Line Managers following OH and Physio appointments ensuring outputs and reports are shared and understood, raising any queries with the OH Advisor.
- To provide a supportive and efficient service to colleagues, managers and the businesses ensuring Occupational Health matters are resolved promptly.
- Manage the internal filing of confidential OH records and maintaining accurate archive system in line with legislation.
- Provide support to the OH team in ordering supplies and raising purchase orders.
- Coordinate site OH communications as required.
- Undertake additional tasks as requested and which are within the range of training and competencies.

**Qualifications and Experiences**
- Proven experience of providing administrative support within a busy office environment
- Ability to handle confidential information discretely, professionally, and appropriately.
- Experience, understanding and competent in the use of the Microsoft suite of products including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Accuracy/thoroughness, attention to detail and the ability to identify errors and/or omissions.
- Clear and articulate communicator and an excellent telephone manner.
- Proactive, organised, and sound analytical/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility in approach and thinking.
- Remain calm and ability to work under pressure.
- Delivery focus and willingness to “go the extra mile”.
- Strong team working skills focusing on sharing best practice and supporting colleagues.
