Main Area Specialist - CBT Grade

A challenging opportunity has arisen to work as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Therapist within our Mental Health Support Team. This role involves supporting children and young people, alongside working with Public Health England's Whole School Approach activities in education settings.

Our team supports children and young people aged 5-18 who are presenting with mental health or emotional health problems of a mild to moderate level of complexity and/or intensity.

You will provide assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy for a range of presenting difficulties where CBT is clinically effective.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with both qualified staff and trainees, offering flexible working patterns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and CBT for children and young people with mental health difficulties
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with education staff, children, young people, and their families
Person Specification
  • Postgraduate diploma in CBT and accreditation with BABCP
  • Professional qualification as Clinical Psychologist, Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or psychological therapist
  • Clinical supervision training or significant supervisory experience

Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum pro rata
