About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at Greencore. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for our colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide occupational health services, including health surveillance, screening, and monitoring, to ensure the overall wellbeing of our workforce.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse with a strong understanding of occupational health principles and practices. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational health services to our colleagues, including health surveillance, screening, and monitoring.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential health hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs to promote a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that health and safety policies are implemented and enforced.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a strong understanding of occupational health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fully conversant with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant guidance and data protection legislation.
  • A good knowledge base of health promotion and health and safety at work.
