**About The Role**:
(WORKING IN AN OFSTED REGISTERED CHILDRENS HOME)
ForeverCare are looking for full time dedicated Residential practitioner to provide quality, person-centred care to Children aged 5 to 17, with a variety of different needs and requirements. All who require care and support in our ever-expanding Residential Children's Home provisions,

You will work alongside the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Residential Child Care Officers caring for and supporting our children to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will work with external agencies. All daily and specific recordings will need to be completed to a high standard and inputted on to a software system.
You will report directly to the Senior Practitioner Deputy Manager and Registered Manager.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Right to Work in the UK
- 6 months+ UK experience of working within a similar setting
- 5 years of professional references
- Enhanced DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
Work towards achieving the best outcomes for children in line with Care Quality standards and Children's homes regulations 2015.
Most Desirable Qualifications
level 3 Diploma in Social Care (0-18 year olds) Will require no further NVQ.
Next Desirable Qualifications
level 3 Diploma in Adult social care (Will require doing 3 units of Residential Care level three NVQ)
No Qualifications requires full level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare (17 Units)

**About Us**: In our Supported Living service staff support young people aged 16+ towards living independently and keeping themselves safe and bettering their lives. This involves working 1 to 1 or with other staff to support young people who are vulnerable and can show challenging behaviour. ForeverCare's aim with supported living is to help these young people change their life direction to a better one and prepare them for adulthood and living independently while keeping themselves safe. We are looking for support workers to join our supported living service.
In our Residential Children's homes we offer care for vulnerable young people aged 7 and above. We currently have 3 registered children's homes with Ofsted. These young people are vulnerable and some can be challenging. It is ForeverCare's aim to improve the lives of these young people and provide care for them to keep them safe and improve the quality of their lives. Experience working in care is very important for working in our residential children's homes and having a NVQ level 3 is beneficial. In this service we are looking for Residential Child Care Officers who can supply care for the young person residing in the home.
