About the Role

As a Senior Childcare Practitioner at SGS Care Ltd, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support to children aged 7-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties. You will work as part of a dedicated team to provide a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes the best possible outcomes for our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide direct care and support to children aged 7-17 with EBD and MLDB;
  • To develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of each child;
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting the needs of children and young people;
  • To contribute to the overall delivery of our services and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma with social care pathway;
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour;
  • Fluent in English and ability to understand different UK dialects;
  • Valid driving licence.
