Working within the Patient Advice and Liaison Service and supporting Patient Experience, with specific responsibilities relating to:
Translating and Interpreting Services
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
Feedback and Administration

To lead on the Interpreting and Translation work within the department (including Language, British Sign Language (BSL), Easy Read).
To ensure all interpreting and translation requests are booked and fulfilled in a timely manner, including all urgent requests.
To work closely with external suppliers for language and translation services
To support on all EDI and AIS project work for the department and ensuring a co-production approach is used to involve patients in this work
Where asked, to support the Head of Patient Experience and Engagement with attendance at local community groups and events, ensuring that feedback is gathered from minority and seldom heard groups
To support the Patient Experience Co-Ordinator with Friends and Family Test data collection, and distribution. Supporting with anonymised reporting to individual departments and requests for un-anonymised data from department leads.
To support with the administration of work within the PALS and Complaints team.
