The Job Description

We are seeking a talented Learning Facilitator with SEN Experience to join our team at a vibrant school environment. The successful candidate will support children with SEMH needs in an inclusion unit at the school, helping to create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Your Key Duties

  • Assist teachers in managing classroom behavior and supporting students with SEMH needs
  • Evaluate potential risks to ensure children's safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • Apply knowledge of the curriculum in your daily activities
  • Communicate effectively with children and adults, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

  • Be able to perform the duties as described
  • Have a caring and empathetic nature, with insight into children's unique needs
  • Understand sensory processing issues and communication challenges
  • Build strong relationships with children and colleagues
  • Be adaptable and able to work independently and as part of a team
