Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supportive Learning Facilitator to join our team in Central Swindon. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with students who have various needs, including ASD, SEMH, learning disabilities, or EHCP. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support, foster a positive learning environment, and help students develop their skills and confidence.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with teachers, other support staff, and external professionals to ensure that each student receives tailored support and care. You will also participate in creating a supportive school community that values diversity, promotes inclusivity, and encourages creativity and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for students with SEND and SEMH
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver effective teaching and learning strategies
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with children and young adults. A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred, although training and development opportunities may be available for suitable candidates.
