GWH is recruiting to our Improvement Facilitator, that sits within our Transformation & Improvement Hub. The Improvement Facilitator supports the delivering of the Improving Together methodology to our frontline teams and services. The post-holder will be an exemplary ambassador for this new way of working, demonstrated through their personal approach of energy, empowerment and enthusiasm.

The post-holder will deliver training in the frontline and management systems to embed a culture of continuous improvement. They will support the delivery of change management activities and work closely with teams across the Trust to ensure sustained programme delivery.

The Improvement Facilitator supports the delivery of the Improving Together methodology as part of GWH’s transformation & improvement hub. The postholder will be an exemplary ambassador for this new way of working, demonstrated through their personal approach of energy, empowerment and enthusiasm.

The postholder will deliver training in the frontline and management systems to embed a culture of continuous improvement. They will support the delivery of change management activities and work closely with teams across the Trust to ensure sustained programme delivery.

The improvement facilitator will work with colleagues in the Coach House and Trust teams to prepare and conduct quality improvement events, including developing and preparing materials for use in the events, coordinating with department management and participants, supporting the use of process improvement tools, facilitating team decisions, assisting in the development of implementation action plans, and conducting follow-up.
- To support delivery of the Improving Together programme across Great Western Hospitals NHS FT.
- To participate in Improving Together training sessions to identified clinical and non-clinical teams on the Trust roadmap to build an engaged workforce that utilises all Trust staff to drive results towards organisational goals
- To maintain an improvement facilitation information system ensuring data is kept accurate and up to date
- To support the coaching of colleagues in the Trust to drive continuous improvement, establish routines and behaviours to support improvement initiatives
- To support the delivery of presentations and other training sessions to groups of staff on new ways of working
