Compliance & Administration Assistant

Goonvean Aggregates have an opportunity for a forward thinking and enthusiastic Compliance & Administration Assistant to join our aggregates business. You will support the Compliance Manager in ensuring the business operates in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Duties include;
- Keeping accurate and organised records of compliance documentation utilising the integrated management system (including inspection and monitoring records and updating existing documents)
- Registering assets onto the integrated management system and ongoing maintenance of the register
- Maintaining employee training matrix, uploading to the integrated management system and distributing certificates, waste management records, PreDrive administration data / mobile phone administration, haulier database and supplier database
- Assisting in preparation of toolbox talks for dissemination to employees
- Reviewing and updating COSHH assessments for manager approval
- Reviewing & updating legal compliance registers for manager approval
- Carrying out inspections of the office work areas / legionella monitoring
- Arranging inspections / monitoring and training
- Providing office support when required, taking calls / processing sales orders

- Saint Austell: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
