Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a **Global Trade Marketing Administrator** to join our innovative Marketing team. This is a permanent role, open to your location. Ideally, you'll be based at Alton Towers, working from the office once a week. If based outside of Alton, it is expected for you to meet the team at least twice a month.
**About the Role...**
As a **Global Trade Marketing Administrator,** your primary focus will be supporting our team in executing a diverse range of B2B, B2C, and B2B2C marketing activities. This entails overseeing the end-to-end process of marketing material production and delivery, crafting compelling copy for various platforms, and utilising technical proficiency to edit and format HTML Mailers through the Mailchimp platform. Your role extends to maintaining and curating trade mailing lists, managing B2B social media accounts, and overseeing the global asset bank, ensuring seamless communication with global attractions and key contacts.
In addition, your responsibilities include actively contributing to the production and delivery of B2B events, and maintaining global sales collateral to uphold brand consistency. This dynamic position requires a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Merlin Entertainments' marketing endeavours, contributing to the overall magic that defines our global brand.
**About You...**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- An enthusiastic individual with an interest or experience in Marketing
- A good eye for design and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- A self-starter and proactive, with a willingness to learn
- Experience with Mailchimp or a similar CRM platform is beneficial but not essential
