The S&S Adult non-fiction team is looking for an Editorial Assistant to work in their quality commercial team. Reporting to the Publishing Director and supporting the S&S editorial team as a whole, this is an exciting role for someone who loves non-fiction and wants to work with books and authors who will reach a wide audience.

This role would involve close involvement in all editorial administration activities leading to publication across non-fiction titles, including (but not limited to): running reports (TCM, TMM, etc); developing and maintaining content on the databases; diary management; organising author publication gifts; processing expenses; organising schedules for fairs and overseas trips; reading and assessing manuscripts; copyediting; briefing and managing freelancers and liaising with authors and agent.
