We are looking for an approachable and enthusiastic **Receptionist** to join our team.

You will work on reception and administer reservations for Twr y Felin, Roch Castle and Penrhiw from the central location of Twr y Felin Hotel. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Provide a smooth delivery of service and guest satisfaction.
- Understand all rates, promotions and facilities in all of the properties.
- Be fully conversant and able to operate the Property Management System (PMS).
- Ensure all reservation deposits and guest bill payments are accounted for accurately.
- Manage the guest profile facility on the PMS and ensure the information is accurate.
- Upsell and promote the other departments within the group at every given opportunity.
- Whenever possible anticipate guests’ needs, carry out requests in a courteous manner.
- Ensure guest feedback is recorded effectively.
- Have knowledge of activities in the local area so you can recommend these to the guests.
- Be present during event operations including Weddings, Events, Christmas, New Year, Easter and other School and Bank Holidays as required.

**To successfully fill this role, you should ideally have**:

- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in a business environment.
- Experience in a similar Front Office environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Possess exceptional guest service skills with a can do attitude.
- IT skills including Microsoft Office knowledge with emphasis on excel.
- Flexible attitude to working patterns over 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Strong and personable communication skills including face to face, telephone and written.
